No it wouldn't, then it would be Sabbath easy Why? Because Steve Harris didn't produce the Dio-era Sabbath albums

I'm a little suprised at this one, that you are all being so hard on Sabbath. My vote goes to Maiden, but only just. Sabbath really are the shit, they f'n rule....I think I will listen to 'Heaven & Hell' later..

I'd vote for Sabbath if their Ozzy-era stuff was as strong as the rest of it (well, what I've heard). Strange - I really don't like Ozzy-era, but love his solo stuff.

I don't think anyone is being harsh on Sabbath at all. Its just that we're all huge Maiden fans which is why we post here hehe. I really didn't wanna vote Sabbath out but I couldn't vote against Maiden, my 2nd favourite band ever.

Spiffy: that is weird. What is it about Ozzy era Sabbath you don't like? Some of it is brilliant IMO.

I see what ya mean Troops, I wouldn't expect many/any ppl to vote against Maiden, but I thought more people would be faced with a tougher choice.

I just find Ozzy-era Sabbath to be boring. Not really sure what it is. There are a few songs that are great, but most of it... well, it bores me

Might have a listen to Reunion one day and see if I can change my mind.

Black Sabbath Album, Sabbath bloody Sabbath album, Paranoid album, Sabatage album.

I'm also a huge fan of the last 2 that they did with Ozzy, Technical Ecstacy and Never say Die. These 2 arnt too popular amongst Sab fans, but I love em! Especially Technical Ecstacy

Thats strange, 'Technical Ecstacy' is often thought to be their worst album, or one of anyway. I think all Ozzy era Sabbath has moments of greatness though. Is classics on each of their albums.

Children of the Grave, Iron Man , Paraniod, Sweet Leaf, NIB, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Sympton of the Universe, War Pigs , Black Sabbath, Killing Youself to Live, Hand of Doom, Dirty Women, Gypsy, Never Say Die, The Writ, Meglamonia gee thats only with Ozzy .

I know personally that the only band I would vote for ahead of Maiden for sure is Kiss. And they will probably out coz of damn Van Halen.
