Here's one for y'all, does anyone remember when Dave Mustaine attempted to cultivate a set of handlebars? There must be a pic somewhere. It was around the time of Countdown To Extinction, and he definitely had them when Megadeth opened for Metallica at the Nowhere Else To Roam show at Milton Keynes Bowl (yup! I was there). Conclusive proof that ginger handlebars are a no-no, he looked more like Sir Robin from Monty Python and The Holy Grail than Sir Lem of Motorhead!
edit: couldn't find a pic, so here is a vid from said gig (btw Megadeth sounded absolutely shocking - rumour was Metallica's sound guys nobbled Megadeth's mixing desk - I guess Lars and co did't want to be upstaged by the ginger whinger!)
