Omg. I hate EA. Origin is the buggiest piece of shit software I've ever used (right after Windows ), it takes 2 minutes to process clicks and gives me loads of failure messages. Next: Can't download the BF3 Beta between 6:00 and 23:00 o'clock without verifying my age through a Facebook app (W T F !) on the Battlefield Facebook page. The thing is... the servers for the age verification are down -> no keys, no download. Good job EA, really.

EDIT: Just realized BF3 won't work with Windows XP. FML. Off to get Windows 7 then. Looking forward to hours of installing already -.-

Having said that, I think that their servers are getting raped due to the beta, because the store isn't loading...

You ever played the Battlefield series before?
Best vehicle implementation of any shooter imo, historically they've also had the best balance of simple/arcade style gameplay with enough of a milsim vibe to make the game fun.
That's coming from someone who only plays deathmatch in UT.

when i go to http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield3/1/beta
and klick on DOWNLOAD FOR PC, i get a blank page opened...nothing happens.

when i open up origin a blank white screen appears and stays...

First impressions: this is definitely not the finished game (I hope).
what the fuck is up with the browser based server system?

Further impressions: Interface is terrible, game itself is extremely buggy.

Generally.
-The sound is incredibly unbalanced
-Lots of little graphics bugs
-Not being able to zoom (fixed by a weapon change)
-And the interface and menu design is shit, straight up.
