Cool little clip. Another different sounding clean part, somewhat similar to those in GoP. Quality is not so great, though, and it's feels like it's just a random part of the song. Judging the entire song on this is like judging an album from a 30 second clip at amazon.

sounds likek the funeral portrait to me, similar beat.

Shame about the quality but this is rather tasty and today has been great. GoP then this. I'm so glad this album has the deliverance feel.

One thing i'm disliking, the major key singing, it sounds too cheesy but the guitars a good enough to offset that

yeah. glad to se eim not alone. I'm afraid th eminor key dispells all tension prematurely in this sample

i don't really mind the major key singing. do you expect mikael to have the same style of vocals on every opeth album? one of the great things about opeth is that that they always try something new.

there are some great riffs in this clip. can't wait to hear the rest...

Thanks for the rip...but that sound quality was so harsh that I probably won't repeat another listen. From what I could gather from that audible mess is that this will be another great song in Ghost Reveries. Oh, and the singing, it's different, and great. Opeth experimentations never fail. And of course, there's the well recognized "Lopez beat" near the end of the file.

Man, I already have the feeling that GR will be the best metal release of 2005, by far. :worship:
