Bearing -- Over

At your last Concord show, met one of the guys from Bearing, and I remember him saying you play/played with him somewhere in time... Anyway, after a bit, he sorta grudgingly gave me a copy of his CD -- I say this 'cause it was clear he wanted to pimp it to more important people , but I appreciated it nonetheless.

I think this is some pretty cool shit, it's got a ways to go vocally, but the guitars are nice and tight. I can't figure out who they sound like -- maybe The Council, a Sac area band that came out with one good CD a few years back. Bearing is definitely not speedy but are heavy.

I've listened to it a few times, whoever this guy was (Craig?), if you know, please tell him thanks and that I liked it...

Yes, Craig Lemoge.
Bearing was his last band. He wrote the songs and sang on the album. He is trying to move on from that scene and I think feels that people who listen to My style of metal won't necessarily be into his last bands style. I'll let him know you dug it. He is currently playing in one of my other bands "Tramontane". I hope to start recording our next album by summer's end.
