My ISP is fucking stupid. We set up an auto-debit off my wife's card, which got lost and subsequently cancelled a few months later. There were never phone calls or letters so we forgot about it for the most part. Then Wifey remembered the package included this email account we'd never once logged into in six+ months. Sure enough... the halfwits sent notices there. Mind you, we're at 5 months of non-payment and counting and still more reliable than the Comcast connection I accidentally borrowed via unsercured wifi.

Man, I have been digging the new KD a lot more lately! What are your thoughts on it?
Without typing up a long rant on the positives and negatives of the album,
I really enjoy it as an album, but not as a concept album. The story itself is a real letdown, kind of incoherent, I could care less about the characters, a few parts that are really redundant that kind of ruin the mood, total lack of atmosphere, the musicians don't really compliment each other and there are some sections that remind me of previous KD or MF songs.
But, the songs themselves do flow together nicely, they are memorable and structured pretty well (even if some of the riffs are borrowed), nice mix of heaviness and melody. King experiments with his vocals and it works out wonderfully. Definitely a very powerful and emotional delivery (in the vocals). Probably the most intricate musicianship since Conspiracy.

It's a great album, but I wouldn't place it on the same level as Abigail, The Puppetmaster, Them or Conspiracy.

Yeah, he's still kept up the same ethos from 25 years ago.
But after an album like The Puppetmaster (an album I rank right up there with Them and even Abigail), which must have used up a lot of his creativity, I could understand that this album isn't quite as atmospheric or emotional as I would have hoped

Abigail II was actually the only King album I didn't like. Some of the songs were pretty good, but I wasn't too happy with it for the most part.

I'm still waiting for a Mercyful Fate album. 9 was great, and I really enjoy Force Of Evil.
