BEER!

I live in New York City right now, does anyone like anything Brooklyn Brewery offers? Both of my parents are European, and Brooklyn Brewery definitely has to be one of my favorite american breweries right now...

local brew from Melbourne AU & best stuff I've ever tasted

Confiscating beer?

For shame.

Tuborg....yessss.....mmmm.....me likey. Always on my "to do" list when I visit Romania, because I can find it easily there. Also the only time I can get Silva. The darker the better. If I can see through it... I don't want it. :)

you guys need to come to germany...it's the world's capital of beer, really.
anyone who thinks the english have "perfected the art of brewing a beer" obviously has no idea what he's talking about. that's like saying beck's was actually a decent beer. as far as i am concerned, beck's isn't even to close to BEING a real beer, more like carbonated yellow water :puke:

I can believe that, isnt Germany the only country to have a beer purity law

not really, that would be Belgium, way more varieties, if you say otherwise, you just don't know much about beers.

beer purity law has nothing to do with it.

Just thought I would revive this thread.

Some new favorites:

Kolsch (Had it while in Koln, just rediscovered it at a local bar. 26 craft beers on tap, oh yeah!)
Fransizkaner Weissbier (Germans, please don't kill me for butchering the name)

The very words I live by. The same goes for coffee.

Over here in the states a food market chain called Trader Joes, which brews their own label and is one of my favorites. Down side is they only make it during the spring. So when it's in stock, I'll buy a couple boxes worth. :D

I think Sam Adams is the only american beer I drink.
