I've got 2 schecters - a Hellraiser with an 81-7 and 60-7, and a stock Loomis sig. They're both fantastic guitars for a great price. I've played mine extensively at gigs and in my bedroom when I used to be into recording music I wrote. They've never let me down and I think it's be hard to sound better for less! They are really big though, which could be uncomfortable for someone who is used to playing ibanez.
They're good enough for Jeff Loomis and some of our most favourite tones have been recorded with them!
