COB - Hatecrew deathroll

or

AFI - Sing the sorrow

sing the sorrow is definetly a good album and i would say about the best this year.AFI are amazing live....its a quick choice....a lot of albums that came out this year have been really good...almost too hard to decide...

The new Manes is indeed excellent, but the Ozzy-esque vocals and the fact that the last track is entirely made up of samples keeps me from voting it as the best album of the year. The new Solefald is just so absolutely godlike that it still enthralls me, months after I first heard it.

The vocals don't bother me. Ozzy never even came to mind. But I do agree about the last track, it is entirely too long. However, if I knew what the dude was saying, that might help a bit.

The vocals aren't bad at all, but after the cds over I'm just starting to get tired of them. If the cd was a little longer, I could easily see the tiring point breached. But those were just minor complaints, that album is definitely in my top 10 so far released this year.
