this is a fairly impossible question to answer but honestly the most timeless album i own that i can always listen to and maintain the opinion that its brilliantly written is the Cure's Disintegration.
More recently Gojira's Mars to Sirus is also pretty amazing, followed by ISIS Panopticon.

Opeth is like Frank Zappa honestly in that the composition is so genius its beyond a poll like this.
