Best Drum Sound

I like MAYH the best.

Damnation hands down. There shouldn't even be any subjectivity about this!

It's pretty obvious the drum sound on Damnation is heads and shoulders above every other album, even though the drumming is pretty laid back.

Mine was a cross between Orchid and MAYH, but I have to go with Orchid if only for The Twilight Is My Robe.

hmm is this poll about the beats and drumpatterns or the production of the drums?

I think Deliverence has the coolest beats, and I think the best production is found on damnation.

And if it's all about the sound, or in other words the production of the drums, I wonder how anyone can pick Orchid or Morningrise. the production of those albums is simply inferior, wonderful music though.

It's gotta be the Still Day Beneath the Sun/Patterns in the Ivy 2 7 inch.

I perticularly like the drumming on the debut. But I think that Martin was perticularly impressive on the last two albums. On Deliverance I found myself describing Martin as a great drummer. Then I love Damnation because we have an acoustic singer/ songwriter style album with a drummer coming from a metal background doing all these great fills and stuff on style of album which rarely has such things.
