Nevermore - DHIADW
Behemoth - Evangelion
Watain - Sworn To The Dark
In Solitude - The Word, The Flesh, The Devil

These albums to me all have a certain character and atmosphere PLUS killer songs. But it is the manner in which the producer/engineer/mixer/whoever that mic'd up these instruments and pushed these bands to deliver killer performances that deserve the credit. All of the above albums, I return to on a regular basis (in that I'll listen to a few of them at least a couple times a week) and each time something cool will catch my ear and make me think "how the fuck did they get that sound/feeling/vibe????"
