When The Kite String Pops by Acid Bath
Anything by King's X.
Judas Priest - Painkiller
Wasn't a huge fan of the Dokken tone.... what we could hear of it, anyway. A lot of Lynch's rhythm tones were buried in the mixes.
How did I know that you were going to jump in there, Jay?
Because its a Felony to be a Liar, so i had to Turn On The Action and throw him Into The Fire Without Warning, because im The Hunter and got no Bullets To Spare.
Im Burning Like A Flame, so i gotta' Stick To My Guns and avoid getting Lost Behind The Wall.
It aint' easy being cheesy!

Yes, buried. I'm talking about the original masters, of course. Vocals and snare waaaaaay out in front. Might be different on the Youtube vids.
FWIW, I saw Dokken 3 times during the glory days....

+1........i still wish i could get these tonezzzzz dont want to go off topic but 80's tones and productions were way better for me than the tones of todayNo disrespect Glenn, but I beg to differ on this one. There's nothing buried about George's tones on those albums (original masters). But yes, the snare and vocals are up front. That's the 80's metal sound (especially L.A. metal...my favorite).
