Sheep fucking land somewhere.
Turned 18 today. Woot.
So some easier booze sampling is in order.
What are some good makes of mead? If possible, link us to a site I can buy from. If not just recommned.
I figured this would be the best place to ask tbh.

Mead = :erk:

Ale = :grin:

I have 40l of my own ale brewing atm and 20l of cider. Making your own drinks wins.

ok lol, I didn't even know ordering alcohol on the net was a common thing!... but then again, I live in a capital.. i guess i'm just ignorant of how things are done in more rural areas.

I have only tried Lindisfarne Mead and did not like it... Im not sure if it is really mead or spirit with honey in it, Im sure they sell over the internet: http://www.lindisfarne-mead.co.uk/

But although not strictly mead, Wynchwood Brewery makes a Honey Ale which is great, Bee Wyched it is called... Anyhow, they do sell it in their online shop.

I've had "mead" while in France, or Chouchen as they call it there (Im the guru of weird booze BTW, feel free to bow) you can probably get it anywhere that sells Breton products.

Edit... there is a shop for Breton mead and other liqueurs here: http://www.kellidenn.com/chouchen-lozachmeur-demisec-p-61.html
