Best of 2009 lists?

damn i was about to post my list even though i haven't heard all of the new lynyrd skynyrd, alice in chains, pearl jam, danger danger, kiss or prince and only 1 tune from lynch mob. i'm not really expecting any of those mentioned albums to make my top 5 though. a few huge prince fans have told me the album is ok but too many fillers since its 2 discs. the new AIC seems to lack energy in a few places and lynyrd skynyrd has been average for decades now

I think mid-November is good enough and besides we can always make a last shuffle before Dec 31. I believe I don't have anything to buy from 2009 after that date (although I owe some albums I haven't been able to find yet :()

As soon as the thread begins I will stick it until the end of January 2010.

Title of the thread threw me. I thought we'd started Best Of lists already with 3 months left to go. Whew.

Heard a few tracks of new AIC & it sounds really good to me.

Mine's December 8th...the day John Lennon and Dimebag were mudered...

And mine is when Chuck Schuldiner died. Ironic to celebrate life on the day somebody died...

A lot of December's children here so far, we will have to throw a UMOS twelfth month party I guess :saint:

I dunno if anyone died on my birthday but I share the same birthday with former Edmonton Oilers goalie Bill Ranford. Oh and Nostradamus... though I doubt he saw it coming.

C'mon Brandon you have to be putting me on, my birthday is Dec 13th! We need to move PP to December to have one hell of a party

Yeah I remember that, right after each other! Get PPUSA moved to mid December and you got it bud!

Dec 21 is my birthday. Lets have a party.... 12-21-2012!

That's my aunt's birthday too and she's terrified about the end of the world or whatever. Even though I've dispelled her fears using logic, she's still afraid.

1. We made a switch to the Georgian Calendar thus setting off the end of the world at least several months.
2. We don't take anything else the ancient Mayas took seriously, why this?

Anyone else have a friend or family members freaked out over this?

We should start our own UMOS fest. Now, who among us is rich? :Spin::Spin:

Nah! She shouldn't worry about it. I just find it very interesting. I think I first heard about it on The History Channel! :)

No one, why do you think we have to share a house at PPX instead of booking a whole hotel for just us? :loco:

But we should do something special for December we are growing in number, the children of the northern winter (in my case was summer since I born in the south :D).

Costa Rica doesn't have winter. It has hot, really hot and raining.

a) I born in Argentina and there we have the four seasons (no, not Vivaldi)
b) theoretically speaking Costa Rica being in the northern hemisphere share the seasons with North America but since we are in teh tropics basically two seasons are acknowledged: rainy and dry.

Some say that's is rainy and rainier :Smokedev:, but actually we are experimenting a drought right now :(. To worsen things people here call the rainy season winter and the dry season summer when in reality is the opposite being at the 10th parallel.
