OK, so I have just got into Painkiller :headbang: these last 3 weeks (yep - I've been a bit slow with these guys!!), and want to know what Judas Priest records I should check out next???

Cheers.

Pick up Metal Works '73-'93. It's a great best-of 2 CD set. If you're just getting into Priest, this is a perfect way to get to know their best stuff!

Killing Machine (or Hell Bent For Leather for you Yanks) is their best IMO. Sad WIngs is amazing too, and I also fucking LOVE the new album. ZTPioneer - what's up with the new album? It's brilliant - I prefer it to Painkiller.

No. You do. I don't know how you can recommend Demolition then say AOR sucks balls. What are you? Deaf?
Demolition is alright (Machine Man is great) but it's probably Priest's worst album (Maybe Turbo). AOR has some amazing songs on it.
Ah well, I suppose you're entitled to an opinion, even if you're clearly a crazy loon. :p

Demolition was a fresh album where each song sounds entertaining to me,
while AOR is totally unfresh, nostalgic cheap ripoff of the old Priest days, with maybe one good song or two.

THe new Priest is ok. I'm suprised by all of the critical praise for the album. Then again I'm also suprised by how much Demolition is panned.

Angel Of Retribution is awesome. What the fuck is wrong with you people.

Stained Class, Screaming For Vengence, Defenders Of The Faith. Painkiller

Pretty much all the early stuff.
