Even though I like most of the guitarists mentioned, I don't really identify them with "riffs." (Maybe the definition of riff I'm using is outdated...which is possible since I'm old...) One guitarist I consider to be a master of riffs is Manni Schmidt (ex-Rage, now in Grave Digger).

I know! The Coming Curse, Dante's Inferno, Stormrider, I could go on forever. Also, I should have mentioned Loomis. I heard that guy tried out for Megadeth at 16 and blew Mustaine away, but he was too young and Marty tried out the next day.

Dimebag and Romeo are my favorite riff writers of all time. Loomis is good too but Warrel ruins the band with his scary Halloween wannabe vocals.
