It went really good actually (eventhough Jocke's snare broke down after one song...aargh).

Yeah, they claimed the wireless sender to the mic was broken and said that spareparts would cost us 4000 riksdaler. We told them to fuck themselves, mounted down the sender and showed them there was nothing wrong with it.

I guess they were just generally pissed about the blood and wanted to "frame us" for something...

Killer organization and great festival otherwise!

I can't stand for nightmares nevermore to stand there all lonely with no votes anymore. It's my favorite song anyway (even though I screwed up numerous times trying to guess what the lyrics were). I especially love the chorus and the key change at the end...very well done.

Of course as soon as I listen to any other m_r song it immediately becomes my favorite as well. But we'll ignore that fact.

Mind revolution owns the entire album!
It's unsurpassed by any other of the tunes on both TD and MR.
I noticed it was a few seconds longer on the final CD than on the "pre released" cd
The best song got even better

i think i figured out for me, what mind_revolution lacks a bit.
compared to Timeless Departure, there's less bass work: when i listen to songs like Fragments Of Time, The Universe Unveils Skyfire Timeless Departure and basically any other song on TD, the bass seems to play like an additional low guitar, not only as rhythm instrument.
yeah. that's it what mind_revolution lacks.
or let's say, that's what I miss on "mind_revolution".

I wish I could change my vote now. I originally voted Uncloud the Sky, but if you asked me now I'd be between Mind Revolution and Colliding in Mind.

I can't hear diddly bass on TD. The guitars just overpower it...if I had to pin down a whole song bass-line wise, I would never be able to do it. It's just kinda like a thunder of indistinct notes. You can hear one or another sometime but...really, that's not the way people should hear bass.

All in my humble little opinion that is. I like the way Iron Maiden does bass..you can always always always hear it. Though they kinda have their's eq-ed so it's more treble-sounding. I wouldn't mind it either way, as long as I can always hear it during the songs.

So yes, one of very few complaints about the cds. Keep that in mind, boys, when you record the next one. We wanna hear jooooooonaaaaaaaas. And kicking henke and the keys up a notch couldn't hurt either...but maybe that's just my bad hearing, about the keyboards.

But even when it first came out, Jonas said he thought the bass was to low in the mix and he's pretty much right. I dont think it detracts from the sound but I think the next album would benefit from a more even mix. Especially considering everything on TD was drowned out by the keyboards.

And of course you hear bass in Iron Maiden...Steve would never let them drown him out . Maiden always has excellent production tho so I can't complain
