Some honourable mentions to Morbid Angel, Aurora Borealis, Suffocation ... anyway,

Suffocation, Nile, Malevolent Creation, Disgorge, Immolation...

Depends when you ask me. Right now, I would say Suffocation.

deicide, nile, and for the more melodic parts, i'd say darkest hour... but that's just me.

Yeah; and of course I love Cannibal Corpse..... but not as much as Deicide...

There are sooo many good deathmetal bands in USA, but those two are my faves of that genre

I remember countless Morbid Angel show's, alway's with other great band's(Black Saboth, Motorhaead, Grip Inc.'with Dave Lombardo's 30 minute drum solo'EG') to name a few, Hate Eternal I only saw in Millwuakee.
Alway's a pleasure to be present at.
Not really Deicide either, but maybe Zyklon.

Well it's only a memory... as for Grip Inc. I never owned anything by them yet, but they played with Morbid Angel and the drumming was great that night with Dave.
