Between the Buried and Me Needs to tour with metal bands

I went to a show just to see BTBAM last night, and it was really annoying because they were playing with 3 uber-gay screamo bands and everyone at the show was like a 14 year old emo fag. Their set was flawless, though the whole experience would have been a lot better if there were other good bands on the bill.

Well, BTBAM theselves are emo infused metalcore.

BTBAM is death/grind infused technical metalcore with somewhat "emo" parts in only a handful of songs.

But I'm sure you wouldn't know that, probably having never actually listened to them.

I think they are a good band and the guitarists are very good.
But the singer has a Dance music side project.

Jon of Dissection had an almost Dance music side project with De Infernali. Who gives a shit what side project a person has? BTBAM sounds more metal than anything else.

I actually dled one of the albums. It had a good amount of clean vocal emo parts. I don't find them horrible or anything, the way I do, say, As I Lay Dying.

Actually, I've spent plenty of time listening to BTBAM and thought it was time well spent. And if I could have seen them with Cephalic Carnage, that would have been a hell of a lot better.
Remember: short hair does not equal emo
