BFD Drum Importing

I tried to find this in search to no avail.

Does anyone know how to import your own drum samples into BFD? I can't seem to make it find my samples.

AFAIK it's not possible. BFD is designed to use only the sounds it comes with or those from the expansion packs.

BFD isnt set up to play your own samples... its set up to use the samples they provided you with... hence all the different miking scenarios and the adjust ability of the samples etc...

If you want something that will play your samples, you're using the wrong program.

yep....not gonna happen with BFD. Proprietry samples is the name of their game along with the drum engine.

Best tool for the job when using your own samples is probably Drumagog as it'll trigger from midi tracks (or audio) and has decent dynamic algorithm options. Battery lets you use your own samples as well and may do the job for you.

Thanks for the replies. I can now stop trying. I've used Battery before, so I may go with that.
