it's hideously overproduced (and I am the last person to say anything is overproduced), and the atmosphere, intense emotion, and the depth of previous albums have, more or less, dissappeared

I thought Silence, Winterheart's Guild, and Reckoning Night were good. The rest is pretty useless, though. Typical flower metal.

First off it's "themselves" second of all i don't have the guts to kill myself, 3'rd if you can't handle other peoples opinions fuck off.

Of course people in metal will have different views from you, i for one hate any old metal its underproduced boring and doesn't fulfil my need for originality or technicality.

If you disagree with my opinion at least write something constructive and state why you disagree with me or give me some albums to listen to or point out why old metal is better.

In terms of Burzum, I find Filosofem to be a bore. Many say it's their best, but I like it by far the leat out of all Burzum metal material.

Major props. I've seen so much undue acclaim for this overrated, overhyped, piece of pseudo-creative shit. I think it really is their worst album in their entire career. It's hardly even worthy of the Celtic Frost name.

I don't hate it but I can understand why people hate it. I thought it was mediocre. It just wasn't heavy enough and didn't live up to all their other releases. Morbid Visions was their best.
