Loebs, i was 4 or 5 feet to the RIGHT of you in front. You also had a cryptopsy patch above the morbid angel patch, right? I have medium-short dark blonde hair, was wearing a sweatshirt, and I am pretty short. I started out around second row, a bit closer to you, but inched my way completely in front before Opeth. I was directly behind Mendez. It was awesome. So yeah, i'm pretty sure I saw you.

I thought the sound was awsome, maybe it was because i was right infront of their amps ....

my friend told me actually that when he was up close the sound was good coming off their amps as opposed to PA, so that must have been it....

Mendez took forever to get off the bus...

yeah, he looked beat after the concert... i spoke to him briefly on the bus and he wasn't himself.. they must be tired.. they're playing at least 4 shows on consecutive days and then have just one day break.. and then again 4 or 5 days.. shit, i know i wouldnt want to live on that bus.

i have no clue lol i usually wear glasses but not at shows so maybe i couldnt see u, yes i did have a home made cryptopsy patch lol i loved how they played some of them through the PA system before bands came out. probaly cya around, im goin there sunday for meshuggah, i was goin to go for sepultura tonight but i rather buy simpsons toys then see them again and still not play anything off Schizophrenia album. hahaha Keep on rotting in the free world. \m/

i dont think anyone saw me, i had a Impaled shirt with morbid angel pack patch and couple patches above it. i was infront the line wit a bunch of holigans makin noise. i was up front infront of mickael.

I thought the sound was awsome, maybe it was because i was right infront of their amps but i enjoyed the sound more at birch then the NYC show. I was there since 1 in the afternoon, oh man i was beat lol Get this, a friend that i brought a long, she stayed at 3 so i can go back to my town 10 minutes away to pick up my other friends, some dude that works the club let her come in and watch their sound check!! when i came back i heard them playin Moonlapse Vertigo, Rid the disease, windowpane, in my time of need. i caught some of it untill the worker kicked me out but let my friend stay argh stupid Glassjaw fan workers. and get this! i didnt know digital photography was allowed till the minute they opened the doors and then i had to surrend it and trust the club, thankful and surprisingly they held it for me. later on my friend gets back stage, so let this be a lesson to all fans. NEVER LEAVE THE LINE! lol

Beyond the Embrace was awsome as hell, 3rd time i saw them and still kicking.

Lacuna Coil.....im sorry if i offend anyone but THEY SUCKED!! the same tempo the whole set. i saw not only no signs of metal but not even talent! the drummer looked funny just cause he acted like he was so great haha all i can say is a band like this only has fans cause of a hot singer. To many dorks screaming out "christina i love you" dudes she lives in italy and she probaly gets millionaires banging her haha

Opeth awsome as usual. the way they played their songs this time was maybe a bit slower on some tracks, espically deliverance intro, but still awsome. Highlight was when Mickael does the acoustic thingie in Fair judgement where its just him. I luved that jam song thing they did before Demon of the Fall. for those who carefully heard he played a lil lick of the title track of blackwater park. Martin's lil bass solo was awsome to, he can slap! Got mikaels pick that he played wit the whole show so that was awsome. Same set list from previous shows though but sitll good

After i stayed till around 1:30 so i can take pix for my friends and get some stuff signed, got the 45vinyl for stillday-patterns 2 signed, and my own GT3 board signed by mik and pete lol for those who stayed late to meet everyone, i had my friend wit the long blonde hair get his pic wit all bandmates doin "the most comfortable handshake ever" lol Mendez took forever to get off the bus. what was wit the dude and the whip in the parking lot? lmao

Oh, I am offended by those stupid comments about Lacuna Coil. It's certain you have never listened to Lacuna Coil and your comments are way off base. If you hate them so much get away from the front and stop staring at Christina. Lacuna Coil was so good and their performance was so magical so i had to say something about this bashing from some fool who has too small of a mind to appreciate a great band like Lacuna Coil. No signs of Metal? What kind of drugs are you on? They are heavy as hell and you must have no pulse. The Drummer who you said was horrible is Cristiano Mozzati. He is a great drummer and your opinions are biased because you never listen to them. He didn't look at all like he was acting great...he is great and no one usually pays any attention to him. Cristiano is a hard working drummer back on those drums while most people ignore him when he's back there on his kit. Everyone is usually staring at Christina or Andi. Who are the singers in the band. Lacuna Coil have fans because they have talent unlike idiots who instead of chanting for Opeth when they are on stage has to yell out Iron Maiden instead of Opeth. You must be that twit. I think that's funny if that's you. I think someone called that guy a dork! Christina is beautiful and you just don't love the band with your stupid comments, you need to shut up! To say that Lacuna Coil only has fans because of a hot singer?! I don't think i would be standing near the front for all that time if they sucked and the singer was hot! That place wouldn't have been packed for them either. It shows that your in the minority of people who didn't enjoy them last night. What is your problem with guys loving Christina?!Jealous?! Nothing wrong with loving Christina and i hardly believe she is banging millionaires if she is married to one of the guy in the band. first off i downloaded the comalies album and i was quite board, yea u can be heavy to be considered metal but please, same tempo the whole time? i have heard and seen many bands and they are nothing near to definitive meaning of heavy. espically when u got sound effects of a keyboard playing.

Lacuna Coil was amazing last nite, one of the best damn live shows I have ever seen. They blew the "weve been playing the same setlist for the past 4 years" Opeth off the stage. Christina was one of the most incredible performers I have ever seen, male or female.

Yes i admit it was childish of me possibly to post that thought of lacuna but i thought there was people that didnt like em such as me cause i went wit 8 people, and only 1 out of them thought they were decent.

i can say alot right now and still argue but i wont. All i will say is this, i listen to metal every day and they are not metal. Just hard dark rock.

Well said! I love LC as much as I love Opeth, although for different reasons. LC was absolutely amazing last night, although the sound was shit, but that's Burch Hill's fault. Sound for Opeth was just as bad. Oh well. And also, why the hell the stage is so damin low there? Cristina would completely disappear from my view when she was headbanging...

About Opeth... It was an awesome show as well, better than Irving Plaza's in January (except sound was better at IP). I was kinda pissed about the set list, though - Mike, come on dude, reahearse some new songs for your shows, damn it!

The only thing I disagree with is LC blowing Opeth off the stage... Let's just say it didn't happen

Thats for damn sure haha, yea ever since ive been goin to birch hill it always puzzled me why the stage is so small there espically in a tight club like that. last night was one those few shows there where it just gets filled wit a ton of people. last time i saw it that crowded was Gwar or Iced Earth. Theres 2 other clubs in NJ that fit the same amount of people but no one extremly big will play there. probaly cause the money
