Black Friday Deals

how is that kramer master tape plugin? Does it compare to VTM? The Ilok2 thing is annoying. Really makes me reconsider buying plugins from SSD

man this sucks. SO many awesome deal yet so little money... I'm going to have to buy something though. I can't miss out on these deals especially when I plan on buying the plugins sometime. How stupid would I be to buy the slate digital VCC and VTM or the CLA classic compressor after this sale?

woah. So the slate digital stuff does not come with an ilok2? They cost like 40 dollars! That's insane! Especially when the only thing I have that would require it is the slate stuff! That's a huge letdown as I really like his stuff. It's annoying enough having to use a damn dongle for my steinberg stuff.

Now that I'm actually awake and not half a sleep anymore I see 2 options for me.

Option 1
Waves NLS Native - 129,-
Kramer Tape Native - 59,-
CLA Classic Compressors Native - 105,-
Total in euro's: 227.85

Option 2
Slate VCC AND Tape Sim - 149,-
CLA Classic Compressors Native - 105,-
iLok2: 50 (euro's)
Total in euro's 247,50

Unfortunatelly, the only experience I have with the VCC and Tape SIM are from clips you guys posted. On Gearslutz and here it seems most people favor Slate VCC above NLS. I was happy with the NLS demo and also Kramer Tape, but it's hard making a decision not having compared.

i'm still shocked at the price of an ilok2 that is needed for the slate stuff.

I'm tempted by the BassRider - I seem to recall that it was pretty well regarded when it first came out?

god damnit i could use that Slate bundle!! maybe i could scrape together something at least for the VCC - that's a great price for it, lowest i've seen.

going to buy some stuff from NI at least.

i have both the vocal and the bass-rider. tried them on countless mixes and sources with different approaches, but they never worked the way i excepted it. i still automate everything by hand. but maybe i'm using this things wrong...

Used BassRider a couple of times. Work pretty good once you got the settings tweaked a bit. Did have to make a few manual corrections on the result, but definitely saved a lot of time compared to doing everything manually.

Lots of great deals in this thread, really tempted to spent loads of money ;).
