does anybody have any contact details for that guy?

or better yet does anyone have a left handed seven string in the eu? thats for sale?!

Eh.. You aren't missing out on much.. Aside from playing smoothly blackmachines sound super thin and frail. With that kind of money there are plenty of choices that sound and play much better

I emailed left messages etc for the guy for a couple of years while he was

building and got no response . Super flaky I reckon , must be why he stopped .

For 2011 regrettably it will not be possible to order a guitar in the usual build to order manner. With the private stock of timber I have collected over the last 15 years I intend to build some specials. I have been looking forward to this for some considerable time. These will be built and will be available in a mix of the more standard guitars.
It is quite likely that these will be the last instruments built entirely by hand by myself. In order to respect those who have put their names down on the waiting list I will endeavour to offer first refusal when instruments become available.
Thank you for your support.

That doesn't sound like quitting to me.
Anyway, BM get's a lot of hype but as everyone has said, there are a ton of great luthiers out there.

sounds more like he's doing some last "specials" now and then
getting the rest made in china, later selling them for the same
price of course! :lol::heh:

Dude .. save cash get a custom Agile and be happy ... even with import fees its ALOT cheaper then anything else you are gonna find and they are really great quality guitars.

Take your pick:

They even have 8 and 9 strings if you want to djent all day long.

these look good and i've read thousands of
good reviews but still it feels strange, they look
to good and have really good specs for this price.
sure most of the models do not look fancy (i like it!)
but...sum up the used hardware and assume that
good quality wood was used, it'll cost more than
the guitar itself.

i mean look at this...PURE AWESOMENESS!
(and it's a NECK THRU!!)

so what's the catch?
