I don't know whether I just haven't been in the right frame of mind whenever I've tried to watch them, but I've never seen what's so outstanding about Dario Argento's stuff. Admittedly, I've only seen Trauma and Suspiria, but neither particularly blew me away or stayed in my memory...

Don't watch it for the story, acting, editing, etc. Watch it for how the visuals play off the music. GENIUS.
