How should I go about doing this? I have no idea where to start. I tried coming up with some cookie monster vocals, but they don't sound very good.

Alright, it turns out that I used the distortion effect on my vocals and they sound a little better, albeit it sounds more like I am talking in a funky voice. Ehh, I am very new to this thing, and in order to complete my first song, I have to do the vocals on my own.
