Yeah I wish I had thought of this earlier and planned it better. Don't think I could get one without having time to look at a design and think it over for awhile.

I might forget the idea of a full blown tattoo and get something small and simple just to commemorate the event.

Actually, it's my understanding that you shouldn't get inked during or immediately after heavy drinking bouts since alcohol thins your blood and you'll end up bleeding like a stuck pig. Plus, your judgment might be somewhat impaired, too. ^^


Not that i know anyone who actually follows this guideline. But if someone decides to back away from the needle at the last minute, they can always use it as an excuse, i suppose.

And yes, if tattooists in Germany are anything like the tattooists over here, there's no way in hell you'll find one willing to work on New Years Day. They'll be in recovery mode like everyone else.

Oh yeah.. i forgot to mention, i've actually tattooed before. When i was 16 i made a tattoo gun out of a guitar string, a pen, and an RC car motor. I used it to tattoo a skull on a friends leg. And hey, it didn't turn out too bad!



I could always try digging up that gun and bringing it with me, y'know?

Well, I have long hair, but am far from "hot", LOL. Plus in the wrong state anyways. But the tattoo idea sounds good. I've been jonesing for another one for some time now.
