BLOODSTOCK 2007 INDOOR

You be pleased to hear that Blaze has done away with head gear altogether now possibly! At his appearances in Gran Canaria recently he was wearing nowt on his head but his small amount of hair (which is looking much rejuvenated than it has before, must ask his secret  )

Dream Evil would be awesome for Bloodstock! And i agree with Cavegirl that so far this year both shows are looking pretty promising for me so i may well attend one or both!

Can't think of any more non-PM bands though at the moment, will have to have a think!

Have to say I agree about the social aspect of BS. I've attended them all ... every BS and BOA ... and now I have to squeeze the bands in between socialising and catch up! I met the other half at BS too ... in the signing room for Freedom Call in 2002! That is an epic tale ...

As for Iron Fire ... is this the same Iron Fire that released On The Edge & Thunderstorm a few years back? I'm a bit out of touch with their recent stuff ... I have those two albums though ...

Dream Evil would be cool ... great live band ... saw PQ play with them a few years ago and Labyrinth and I think I saw them with Falconer too before that! Haven't seen them without Snowy though ...

I'm glad to hear Blaze is coming to terms with being folically challenged ... now he needs to understand that singing Maiden songs he had no part in whatsoever does not endear him to ... well to most people really!

(I can ramble with the best of them .... )

Don't wanna start a blaze war or anything but what maide songs does he sing that he wasn't involved in? He doesn't really sing much maiden or wolfsbane stuff anymore, in the past he did more so as he only had a couple of his own albums to sing from, but as that grows he can boot out most of the maiden and wolfsbane and just sing one or two rarities that maiden will never play

 [/pathetichan]

i had a dream about bloodstock last night :/ hammerfall played and then i suddenly in teh space of two days got 8 months pregnant with oscars babies.................. :err:

see all the bands i want next year have played at boa or bs in the last couple of years so i think im asking a tall order if u recon repeated bands are a no/maybe not... :erk: (on a related note: id like turisas or ensiferum back but indoor so i dont freeze my ass off and get a cold again like i did at boa..)

EDIT* hmmm maybe Angra aye? if the idea of them including a uk tour date has been poopooed.....no/yes/maybe?

It was Wacken 2004 .. when he came out and sang with Doro ... Fear of the Dark and The Trooper as well as Man On The Edge. Maiden still play the Trooper no? No sweat though I loved Wolfsbane ... have all their stuff ... I just fine Blaze rather uninspiring ...

Well I know some other people it has happened to too! One of them turned out badly ... but still ... stay hopeful ...

As for Oscar ... you find him attractive? :erk: Can't say he does anything for me whatsover ... gimme Zakk Wylde anyday!

I would say they will get one 'folk' act for Indoor as it's getting so popular. I'd like Moonsorrow though I appreciate they aren't as 'jiggy'!

Angra for the Friday night headliner for me ... whether they tour or no ...

 i think oscar has charm...but i dunno why i was carrying his babies, i want bob kasionis' babies to create my race of guitar and keyboard playing hot metallers.... :(

hmm yay im glad people agree with the angra idea :D i think that ill have a mini party to myself if they play bloodstock :D

Aye that's fair enough, not sure why he was doing FOTD and Trooper (especially when he's not very good at Trooper  ). But i guess it was Doro's choice of songs and then seeing as she and Blaze are buddies and he was in Maiden she thought it'd be cool for him to join in. Similar to a gig Blaze did with The Clairvoyants where he was singing other non-Blaze era songs i think.

Blaze was indeed awesome with 'Bane but i still think BLAZE is awesome, even if they've fallen from grace somewhat after losing the entire original lineup (except blaze of course  ). And now without a record label and all releases being endlessly pushed back i am finding myself less interested. But then i put on one of his albums and just feel sad that he's not doing as well as i feel he should be!

Pedantic fangirl! I prefered simply Rhapsody. Sticking OF FIRE on the end is as cheesy as having Power Quest OF GLORY...Demons & Wizards & Trolls & Unicorns...Freedom Call of Everlasting War

Anybody want to throw some more in there?
