Does anyone know what the meaning of TWWTG's title is? Just curious... Amazing album by the way

off-topic: I checked out Lengsel's myspace in your sig, it seemed kind of sketchy. It proclaimed they are working on a new album called "Hell calls Hell" to double check I went to MA and they also say this.

Now I am asking you the resident Lengsel fan of UM if this information is indeed correct? Cause if it is, that is great news. Solace owned

It is correct... they're already recording, it's supposed to come out sometime this year... I can't wait.:Spin:

TWWTG is an amazing album, and easily one of the best black metal albums ever.

I have yet to hear any of their other work however.

Well, it just creates the most amazing atmosphere, and when listening to black metal I feel that atmosphere is the main thing I look for. The music is great as well, I mean, come on The Choir Of The Dead, is an amazing song and could stand alone actually.

You just don't like experimentation so its not as if your opinion matters for this subject. :Spin:

No, see, I don't have a problem with experimentation. I have a problem with shitty products.

UT and MV are definetely BAN's best work but I enjoyed TWWTG for it's unmatched atmosphere. It's not something I can listen to very often, but I definetely wouldn't call it a bad album. I hesitate to even call it a metal album at all.

Yeah, amazing atmosphere. So does anyone know what the title signifies. Is it an allegory or something?

Thanks for the insightful comment hahaha...

I already own the album, so I'm not concerned about its "cleaness" as you seem to imply. I just thought it was an interesting title... and one that fits the music.

And CM never did anything for me so no thanks.

The title sounds post-rockish. Crap album, really. If anyone honestly believes this is one of the best black metal albums ever, they obviously know shit about quality black metal.

Is that so J.?

Is it not possible for someone to have tastes that have variety to them? I mean, I love Bathory, Grand Belial's Key, Emperor, Deathspell Omega, and alot of other bands most people in the Black metal world, would consider "quality," and still am capable of loving TWWTG.
