Then why the hell doesn't he show it off during the albums? And still, three guitarists is way too fucking many, even for Iron Maiden.

Woah, three guitarists!!! Why do they need that many? Becuz they can't find that much talent in one guitarist?

Some people scorn me for losing my enjoyment of the music by analyzing it, but knowing stuff about the music you listen to can give you a strong appreciation for the work that was put into it and you can enjoy it even more. I like metal because it takes a higher level of skill and effort to pull off a great album, whereas I hate simplistic stuff because it doesn't really go anywhere and there's a significantly lower level of skill involved.

Same here! I usually listen to the drumming very closely to get the beats in my head and some of the stuff are very complicated. I don't like stuff that is too simple becuz it seems like most of the stuff would all be the same. And I love it when the vocals have some variety. It's more entertaining and enjoyable.

Cannibal Corpse gets old for that very reason. Chris Barnes is a pretty good vocalist, but he rarely substitutes his growling for shrieks or growls. I think George Fisher is better in that respect (and since he naturally attained his growl and didn't have to do heavy marijuana like Barnes did). I especially love Opeth; Mikael Akerfeldt has a great growl and a perfect singing voice. <---fanboyish blushing

Oh. And what about three DRUMMERS for Slipknot?

I loved Follow the Reaper, that was awesome. The new stuff wasn't as good though, I only really liked Living Dead Beat, Are You Dead Yet, and Bastards of Bodom.

I loved all the songs on it esp In Your Face. Maybe they should have done a video for living dead beat instead of are you dead yet.

Three drummers for Slipknot?! I thought there was only one. Slipknot are just a bunch of clowns. And why are there so called "percutionists" banging on trash cans?

Cannibal Corpse does get old. In the beginning, when i first got into death metal, I thought it was very brutal and all. Then after listening to it for years, it gets old. But i still love it. I only listen to it when i'm in the mood though or when the album is barely new. I'd rather listen to death metal bands like Six Feet Under or Monstrosity. Opeth is like the roots of black metal even though they're not. He has really good clean vocals and it fits perfectly with his growls too. I hate it when there is too much variation in vocals like when Mayhem use clean vocals for a really long time then change it all of a sudden. Another band that's like that is ABSU. They have an oldschool voice with shrieking.

Alright, I'll respond to each of those posts in their respective order....

1. Yeah, Living Dead Beat is much better of a song than "Are You Dead Yet?", but it's also longer and would cost more to make a video of.

2. Slipknot has ONE drummer, but the other two guys are percussionists. They're so unnecessary, though, you rarely hear what they're doing and it doesn't really add anything to the music. They definitely could've been left out of the band.

3. Opeth's singer is great. He has such a deep, clean growling voice and his singing has this weird hypnotic quality to it. They perfectly complement each other. And his growling doesn't sound "venomous" like other death metal growlers, it's just sweet growling. And who is ABSU?

And also, try to get all your thoughts in one posts. You're just wasting space.

The best albums that the music world has ever heard are: Hatebreeder and Follow the Reaper. I think i like Hatebreeder a bit more than Follow the Reaper. But both those albums are so fuckin good, i wonder why the band has moved onto writing stuff like AYDY and Hatecrew Deathroll. anyway, the new stuff isn't bad. it's just not as good as the OG Bodom!!:kickass:
