are you seriously comparing the melodies that slayer writes to the melody of children of bodom? no fuckin way. compared to COB songs like Hate Me, Kissing the Shadows, Towards Dead End, slayer songs come no where close to having as much melody. but yeah, i agree that slayer does put some melody in their songs and yes they are considered thrash. but the melody/rhythm in their songs sound almost the same. they lack creativity.

i give my backing on that as well... slayer really lacks creativity... they need progression...

without the drums they are prob the most overrated band ever...
