Hey guys,

Can anyone suggest a good book (preferably in electronic/pdf form, and/or interactive) about general audio engineering and/or pre-production/mixing/recording? I'm not talking about covering 101 basic stuff, but more of a advanced tips and rules on different stages of pre-production and production...

Thanks!

Bob Katz Mastering Audio.

Its a bible in this industry

I have that one, but I don't think it's a good source for what I described... It's true that it touches the subject of equalization, dynamics, etc, on few occasions but it's still mostly about mastering... I'm looking for something mostly about PRE-production (gear and recording environment) and production (recording and mixing)...
Thanks anyway!
