Book to Movie?

Anyone heard of Garth Nix? He is a relatively good writer.... two of his books, Sabriel and Lirael, should be made into movies, IMO.

I'd like to see Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series on the big screen. I'd also like to see The Hunter and The Turner Diaries as movies, even if they're wrote as white racist propaganda. Dragonlance (only the Weis and Hickman books), Stephen King's Dark Tower series, and The Iron Crown by Clare Barroll would be good as well.

I'd like to see a Sherlock Holmes movie that doens't completely screw up the characters and add retarded love interests or has Holmes galavanting about London in a deerstalker. I guess I just want a bigscreen version of the Granada series.
