BOOT CAMP INTERFACES?

I have a Motu 8Pre and have no issues with it. No dropouts or anything. i Recorded a drumset for a few hours with 7 tracks at once. not a prob at all. maybe i got lucky.

woo hoo! that worked itll now at least connect and install the software correctly :-) however..when it goes to update the saffire pro's firmware it keeps failing to update it and then when i turn the unit off and on the green light next to the power doesn't come on....it seems like the problems half fixed but does anyone know what i can do next to get the firmware updated :-\?

AND WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU GIVE OUT THE CORRECT DRIVER TO VISTA AND NOT XP FUCKING IDIOTS.

pleasepleaseplease thanks so much guys!

My early 08 MBP has a TI chipset and everything works great in OSX. I dunno why it doesn't on Vista. It's the 64bit version though, might be that?

OSX leopard is 64 bit.. but yeah fair enough vista 64-bit doesnt have that much compat

no...im on XP...anyway i think its working now just the firmware wont update however i got the latest firmware update from mac os x partition....no reason why they should both be different?

i've decided to try and revive this thread as im having no luck selling my saffire. I applied the driver update and my saffire actually turns on and the green light stays on (a sign that the unit is working) but then i get no sound from either of my monitors when i have anything plugged in and if i turn the saffire on and off it'll crash and just refuse to work until i've restarted XP. Is there any more information anyone can give to solve this problem? Or anybody with the 26 i/o who can help?

Is there a way for you to get earlier drivers? Mackie still lets you download the second most recent driver pack for the Onyx 400F, and I find mine is a lot more stable using it rather than the newest drivers!
