Yes... a DVD filmed with handicams... :ill:

Great file...

Although its too large for the quality and lenght... I've seen movies as heavy as that file with excellent quality...

It doesn't play on your pc?? Perhaps you should run Windows Update to get the latest updates. Windows media player should be able to play it.

But anyway, the codec used is MPEG-2, you can download it for free here:

Check the link Asgeir provided on first page, it's a media player that runs the video. The file doesn't run on Windows Media Player, or Quicktime for that matter, so you need that to see the bootleg. Edit: If you're on a Mac, at least.

This video-clip makes me conclude with the fact that Vintersorg should stay in the studio. Ruining old Borknagar classics. :erk: Grmpf.

Sure it would be nice if being there though.

The video, while quite cool, seems to drown out Vintersorg's voice because of the synths used (the synths overpower a lot of the sound overall, imo). If you listen closely, especially on Colossus, Vintersorg's singing is quite good. It's an issue of it being a bootleg, not Vintersorg having a poor live voice. And again, no offense to the bootleg. I love bootlegs. :)

I recall your criticism is similar to criticism that was also directed at Vortex, mainly that he can't sing live (which is, in my opinion, also not true, as I have seen him sing chorus with Dimmu myself). People don't seem to have high opinions of ANYONE who sings for Borknagar live, hehe.

We stopped playing dress up a looong time ago, we don't even play hide and seek anymore even though the fun-level of that has cosmetical proportions.

:Smug:

I've kind of gone off Borknagar. I want a REAL band with REAL hair, real eyesshadow and pink tripleneck guitars.

Did I forget to mention tight leopard print spandex pants, white cowboy boots and thick chest hair?

Oh my.. You are my hero!
I love bootlegs, and this one was NO exception! Watched it .. *counts*.. Nah, don't have that many fingers :D

Cheers dude, thanks for the vid. Please tell me if you need help hosting it, I'll gladly help. (If that's OK for Asgeir and the Borkies)

Actually, that's been done. Nine Inch Nails' DVD release of All That Could Have Been was taped with all handicams and then edited together using a Macintosh computer.
