Boss Noise supressor

Guys , do you have experiences with this pedal?, i planning to buy one , but i wanna know some of it aplications, it has input, output, and effects loop right?
Can plug my guitar directly into it , and the loop to my amp effects loop? or maybe into my signal chain?

and finally, how good is it?, it is really a noise "supressor" or just another noise gate, i wanna know if it is better than use the noise gate of my G-Major before buy the pedal.

I don't think it is better than what's in the G-Major.

It helps reduce the noise of my 6505+ but doesn't eliminate it completely. I'm getting an ISP Decimator rackmount to see if it's any better.
