despite some weaknesses, i loved the reaction the (big) crowd gave this the first time around... mostly gasps or agreement, but a few shouted-at-the-screen comments too.
then, i wound up seeing it a second time in a theater with about 10 other people, and 2-3 walked out toward the end. presumably in disgust. i can't recall ever seeing that much (diverse) reaction to a film in my life, besides JACKASS, but... well...
BFM pointed out some angles that were necessary, but i still think Michael Moore is a bit cheesified on some stuff. the parting shots at the Heston compound were wretchy.
i forget, did he ever mention anything about population scale in relation to the gun statistics?
