well, basically, for me a so-called love relationship is just like a intimate friendship, only extended with sex and a desire to be around each other a lot, perhaps more in time.
friendships are no more than a mutual 'agreement' to share quality time, imo.
those things can pass in time, some stick around longer. as long as it offers something distinctive.
