Want to eventually write a whole album of this garbage, there's just a few of the riffs I have for that song, no transitions/fills/etc. are in there yet, it's just riff after riff \m/ This is where the mix template is at currently. Comments!

Lol everyone says that, it's actually at 160bpm, but they are 32nd notes IIRC. I have two drummer friends that can easily play this stuff, one of them plays for the Faceless.

LOL dude if that is 16th notes at 320bpm (which 32nd notes at 160bpm obviously are) then you will NEVER find a drummer who can play that! The fastest I've ever heard is Kollias on Annihilation of the Wicked and he tops out around 275 on that album. 320bpm is inhuman!!! Lyle is fast, but let's be honest here...

On another note, guitar tone kills dude! What was the chain there?

Nah, not Superior, although I did do a test run using DFHS and just wasn't happy with it. AD has this certain snare sound I have been after and never got from anything ToonTrack. Adam, true but Lyle can float it like it's straight :P Maybe I should nudge all the kicks during those parts to be more like floating instead of doing straight 32nds...

For the guitars it's just my EC-1000 (C standard, 81 bridge) -> ReValver MKIII (Greener->6505 or 6505+? green channel->signal splitter using two RIR modules running two different impulses and blended 50/50->GR8 for some fine tuning EQ after the cabs). 2 cabs per side, but only dual tracked. Drums are Addictive Drums, started with Dimitar's Prog Kit preset, tweaked quite a bit, all processing on the drums, except the kick, is done within AD's GUI. The kick is sent out to an audio track and using apTrigga on it with two Dissection kick samples, completely replacing the AD kick sounds (which I can't stand). Then a second instance of apTrigga on that channel with a short subhit being triggered from the Dissection samples, blended in slightly to fatten it up. Smidge of EQ on the kick after that. Bass is nothing special. Everything then goes straight into the 2bus with a Sonalksis comp and StillWell's Event Horizon limiter. That's it.

When my HellRaiser C7 arrives I'll be redoing this, and I've been going back and forth between the 6505/+ and the Flathill Red tonestacks so... But then again, I'll probably end up just using the Rev Jr. into MKIII for the final shit.

Bitchin' Mike, though I find the ride to be too loud, and the kicks as well, though I also find them too clicky, so if you backed off on the click that might take care of the level issues. Musically I feel it's a little too frantic in the drums for my tastes (though if they were lower I might change my tune), otherwise I dig!

After checking, it's the 6505+ with the Flathill Red tonestack on the 6505+'s green (rhythm) channel.
