I love this band. The first time I heard them was in 1981. Sitting on the river bank with some mates getting drunk and stoned to the metal of the day. And then one of my buds puts in a cassette.....and the first thing I heard was the thumping of the drums. This was the opening strains to Dallas 1PM. The rest is history.
All these years later, I still remeber that moment. I've been a huge fan ever since. But I've never seen them live.....like a lot of the UK metal bands that have failed to pay us a visit.
I was hoping that Priest would have taken a band like this over to these shores.....even Venom. But we got Anthrax, which is okay. They smoked as an opener. But I've always wanted to see the immortal Biff up on stage.....who stands very much equal with the Halford's, Dio's, and Dickinson's, of the metal world. Truly.....one of the elite!
