Oddly, it's not the weather. I'm typically depressed even if there's no reason, but there are feelings that only come in fall/winter that are due to some things that happened etc etc. I also hate August quite a bit.

I've also been doing a lot of schoolwork lately and I find drawn out more ambiently structured music is better for that than listening to brutal death.

I can barely tolerate any extreme metal at all lately. There's a couple I can enjoy, but mostly a lot of Katatonia, Pumpkins, and The Cure.

ive been listening to the cure a lot too... and the smiths. its all ive listened to for the last 2 weeks.

How so? I don't know much about how ripoff they are but they have Septycal Gorge and Embryonic Depravity with Hasmann covers.

That is cool cover art (I even like the typography, very nice and neat for whatever reason). I predict the album will be decent, though I haven't bothered to hear any of it.
