Brutal/Slam Death Metal

A few interesting bits up there.

lol at Internal Bleeding reforming. I figured I was the whole of their fanbase.

You, me and everyone on the Devo board.. lol

Gorgasm new cd is way under what they used to be...
Masticate To Dominate is true Gorgasm sound. But with all the line up changes im not surprised that it's not as good as before and after a few listen Orgy Of Murder appears to me as average BDM...

Agreed.

Anyone check out Comatose's reissue of Abuse - Like a Virgin?

It sounds pretty damn good to me.... I had never even heard of the album prior to the re-release though.

I'm definitely looking forward to the new Human Mastication. Loved their last album, hope this one is just as good!

I've been listening to this genre for a while now, but I've recently been going through a phase where I only listen to this. Loving Extirpating the Infected (especially Vaginal Saw Entorturement), Gorgasm's Masticate To Dominate, and at the moment Septycal Gorge's Erase The Insignificant. :headbang:

Speaking of Extirpating The Infected, I recently purchased Beheading the Dead and, though I haven't had enough of it on rotation to really look deeply into it, it sounds pretty damn good on the first few listens.

On the other hand, the new Ezophagothomia is absolutely fucking awesome.

This year has kind of sucked for slam so far but I think it'll pick up mid year with stuff like DFTW, Human Mastication and Decaying Purity. Pumped.

LOL, the only problem with slam is that sometimes it's a little tricky to ask about out loud.

"Hey, have you heard the latest Ezophagotomflpsdom?"

"The what?"

"The new album from Ezgogpfohtofosampfoaspsdpa."

"...I'm gonna go."

LOL, my guess is "eh-zo-fa-guh-THO-mee-uh", but lordy lordy the genre does love big words, haha.

Lol, anyone here the babykiller cover from mark gutturawl or w.e the fuck, here it is. Hard to get through the first 30 seconds so I don't know what the whole song sounds like.
