I also second Devourment, Cerebral Effusion, Guttural Secrete, and Pathology

I like your add-ons more than the first list-- Begging for Incest has great riffs and those explosive bass drops on the Carnal Disfigurement are cool.

I'd put Urogenital Macrophage at the very top of this stuff--recommended to me on this thread--that thing has a great Goatlord vibe-- it's filthy, a little clunky, full of good riffs and smart arrangements.

And I dig the new Kraanium & Dysentery more than most of the stuff listed here.

Regarding Misfit's link to Katalepsy--
I never understood the love of Katalepsy's Musick Brings Injuries-- it's not even a finished album-- it's two good songs (Gialo & the second), an okay tune and also two mediocre covers and two really boring, badly recorded demos.
Not sure I'll ever be a full believer---the vocals on the new Katalepsy sound more 'core influenced and the thing has no atmosphere at all.

Regarding the Coprocephalic--
I agree with you on that Coprocephalic-- I'll buy the CD the day it's available. I dig Kraanium as well and will look into Splattered Remains.

Very good list!
I'd move Urogenital Macrophage to the very top of the top, and I prefer the first Cerebral Incubation to the new one (and really dig the new Dysentery), but most of my favorites are on here and I'm pleased by the absence of the amazingly overrated Devourment. Easily the is the best list I've seen on this site thus far, so I'll check out the bands I don't know.

Devourment didn't release an album in 2012.

Devourment was one of the first slam bands I heard, and a reason I didn't explore the (sub)subgenre for a while.

Their arrangements make no sense to me and their riffs don't stick. And worse, the singing in a lot of their songs sounds like a guy singing nursery rhymes (eg. the last two songs on Molesting) or limericks or almost rapping, but with a guttural voice. Although the timbre is slam, the phrases are playful and not heavy.

But sure, I understand how nursery rhymes and limericks and rap phrasing might work for people who use terms like "wiggity" and "whack."
