I agree. Incredibly boring and generic would be how I'd describe their first album as well. I'm not a big fan of them period but their second is still way better.

Besides the somewhat nice cover art, their first album doesn't have much to offer.

Good band. If you like them you might like Vulvectomy. You may also like Condemned. I don't like them, but they have the same vocalist as Cephalotripsy.

Am I the only one here that prefers brutal death to have crisp, clean, clear production? I like it when I can make out the riffs easily, particularly if they are killer riffs. I still love Devourment and the like, though.

It depends on the style. A band like Wormed sound great with clear production and Carnivore Diprosopus sound good with fuzzy production.

i prefer clean production though i have to agree with cookie cutter on this one, some bands just sound better with fuzzy production
