At first I thought the same thing about HK, but I got into it over the summer. I also somehow got the Clean Flesh EP at MDF...for 5 bucks.

I'm new to this forum and the whole Brutal/Slam Death Metal thing intrigues me.

I like alot of the older NY Slam/Brutal bands like Suffocation, old Internal Bleeding and old Pyrexia (don't know if these bands are even still considered slam or brutal).

And lately discovered stuff like Devourment and Disgorge who were both awesome.
Can anyone recommend me some stuff, especially bands that play shows in the US along those lines.

Some off the top of my head shit I recommend:

Digested Flesh - The Answer To Infection
Septycal Gorge - Erase The Insignificant
Lividity - To Desecrate And Defile
Human Rejection - Decrepit To Insanity
Vomitous
Disconformity

I've only heard those albums by the first three bands. Vomitous and Disfonformity don't have to much recorded but they are definatly worth listening to.

Something new I've been listening to for the past few days is CUMBEAST - Gourmet Of Ill Shit fucking sweet stuff.
