Question on that... Do you record the guitar parts with a basic beat/click then program the drums to go with them or the other way around?

yeah i just record the guitars to a click, and then program the drums to the guitars afterwards

Turns out that you can't just drop the Recabinet demo impulses into the AxeFX. Yes, I'm the developer of Recabinet, but no, I don't have an AxeFX to test on (yet!)

In any case, this clip is amazing and I think you are getting the best 8 string tone of anyone, including Meshuggah.
