Burn My Eyes

First time I heard divadian I got that hugh (serial-killer) smile.
I was fucking young at that time (I am 25 now, so do the math) and it was the most heavy thing I ever heard.

Same goes for Sepultura-Roots...

In a somewhat related topic, what are Machine Head like live? I was a HUGE Vio-lence fan when I was a teenager, and they were just incredible to see live. No lights, no smoke, no effects, just 5 lunatics who love metal going berzerk for an hour.

"Eternal Nightmare" is still one of my favorite songs of all time, although I hated Sean Killian's voice. I can't stand groove metal, so I can't take Machine Head for more than about 10 or 15 seconds.

I saw machine head a couple of times in the mid 90's and they totally ruled. The guitar tone was no way near as cool as the records, but the performances were lively.

I dug this out last night and thoroughly fucking jammed out. Then I went onto "The More Things Change".... and fuck man, the beginning riff of Ten Ton Hammer really does feel like a fucking ten ton hammer.

This band fucking rules. I was so upset when they put out The Burning Red and Supercharger. Thankfully they came back around.

The burning red is actually not a bad album. It sucks in the fact that he dated himself by rapping on a couple of the tracks. But there are some good tracks on it. The title track is beautiful. Supercharger sucked for sure though.

If we're being honest, I fucking LOVE "The Blackening"... The writing, the production, the mix, all of it.

Haha, that's cool.

Vio-lence was kinda like that, but maybe multiplied by 2 or 3. Vio-lence's music was a lot more fast and lively, plus they had a singer up there with the 3 guitars; it was just mayhem. But Machine Head looked somewhat similar at the beginning of this video, before the song started.

Machine Head as a live band fuc*ing dominates ive seen them 4 times! The More Things Change is one of my favorite records of all time though.

Killer pit, but then again with such an awesome song and a killer performance it cannot be any other way.

Also, FIRST BLOOD anyone ? They got a lot of parts that sound like MH (especially like those fast circle-pit thrash/hardcore songs like Struck A Nerve).

no one has yet to mension THE BLACKENING which is unbelieveably good......

seriously! every notte of every song is fucking brilliant! i say MH is to govern egypt!
