I'm using a Hughes & Kettner Trilogy at the moment with a 3rd hand Peavey Valve King 4x12, switching between a Mexican Telecaster and an Epiphone LP studio with 85+81.

I'm looking for a 2nd hand cab for both live and recording, playing melodic hardcore
(e.g Have Heart, Modern Life Is War, not gay metalcore with the odd fast part.)

I've been looking at a Marshall 1960AX or 1960B, or maybe an Orange PPC 412.

I'm doing my best not to get the Orange for vanity reasons, but they do sound great live from when I've used other bands, but no wheels, the weight and honky mids and overbearing low end might be a bit impractical for recording.

I was thinking of the Marshall's because of the Celestions V30's, wheels and the 1960B is angled which would help live, but I've also heard the Celestions can be pretty fragile and I'm not loaded enough to afford regular repairs etc.

I'd really appreciate some advice as my experience is pretty limited if anybody has a sec!
