CAGE - Atlanta 05/01 - Metal MayDay Event!

no, it's just that you apparently only attend the bigger Pathfinder shows - I can only guess since I don't know you by your avatar. :p

and Halcyon Way = people buying tickets. Brazen Angel = people buying tickets. Eclipsed By Sanity = people buying tickets. Arktide = all ages people buying tickets. And I have to pay the bills somehow.

you try doing this on a wing and a prayer and see how far you get.

I couldn't have put this better myself. Hoyt, you are one of the best things that the Atl metal scene has going for it. And honestly, as I believe Glenn has said before, if you don't like the way he's doing it, put your money where your mouth is and do it your goddamn self.

I'm gonna try to make this, at least the latter part of the night...but it falls during RennFaire and I'm presumably working again at the Starfire booth. We'll see. I'd really like to see Arktide, too.

Ahhh, leave work early? Or bring the Starfire booth to the show. We could always use those swords. ;)

Hoyt, I'm not familiar with Planet X. Is it new? Whereabouts is it? What else is there? Is it a restaurant/bar like The Local/Sidelines?

First person to say "well, to find it, first you go to Planet A, then Planet B..." gets an "i-i-i-i-i-indubitably!" right smack in the mouth.

I'll look into it, actually. :)

I could actually do that anyway. Well, my blades, at least.

Just found out it the show was gonna be there a few days ago. I'm so glad, considering it was going to be planned in the masquerade purgatory room. This is excellent.

I believe it's a brand new venue. I might check it out next month when Eternal Hour plays there.

Awesome! The Arktide album will definitely be released between now and the show also. Should spark some interest I hope. :goggly:

I believe this Planet X Venue is located inside of this facility:

That is correct. Like I said, plenty to do for anyone who needs a break from the pure, unadulterated onslaught of heavy metal that night. :goggly:

Thanks for posting the link. I would have earlier but ended up spending too much time explaining the methods to my madness.

and Alex (Arktide) - this show was never being planned for the Purgatory room. I would have taken it to The Local before I did that. I was looking at taking it into the Hell room, but their production cost was going to be TWICE that of Planet X. :ill:

That makes more sense now. Masqurade Hell room would be twice as much.

Oh well Planet X is sounding pretty awesome from that site.

No problem, just a little google voodoo. I found the myspace for Planet X first and thought that it was too bad 'local productions' has its hand on the majority of the booking at that place. So much potential too...Its like giving a slab of marble to a guy that builds (lousy) skyscrapers and telling him to make a masterpiece. :err:

The Cage show should be a nice breath of fresh air in comparison.

This show is really going to be a good time. We're really looking forward to it. Don't forget we're playing with TYR in January at the Masq, hit us up for tix for that. You know....because we're oversaturating. hahahaha

Gonna be a fun show, because we're going to be tracking the new album all month and we're coming out of the studio for this one. So our producer will get to see us live, it should be fun....
